Frequently Asked
Denture costs vary depending on the type and complexity. I provide a clear, written quote after your initial consultation so there are no surprises. Many of the clinics I work with offer payment plans or third-party financing options for eligible patients.
The typical timeline is 4-6 weeks from your first appointment to final fitting. This includes multiple appointments for impressions, wax try-ins, and final adjustments. I don't rush the process - getting the fit right is more important than speed. Repairs and relines are usually much faster, often same-day.
No, and this is important to understand. There's always an adjustment period with new dentures. Your mouth needs time to adapt, and it's completely normal to need a few adjustments. I include follow-up appointments as part of my service to ensure your dentures feel right.
Lower dentures are much harder to stabilise than upper dentures. This is due to tongue movement and bone loss over time - not necessarily because the denture is badly made. If you're struggling with a loose lower denture, implant-retained dentures can make a huge difference. Even just two implants can completely transform stability.
Not at all. Sometimes a small amount of adhesive is completely normal, especially during healing or with lower dentures. It doesn't mean your dentures are poorly made - it's often just part of getting the best possible fit and confidence.
No. Your gums and jaw continue to change over time, which means your dentures will need periodic relines (usually every 1-2 years) and eventual replacement. This is a normal part of denture care, not a sign of poor quality. Regular check-ups help me monitor the fit.
This is a common misconception. Implant-retained dentures are more accessible than many people think. Even two implants can completely change a loose lower denture, and the investment often pays off in improved quality of life, eating ability, and confidence.
Your satisfaction is my priority. I include follow-up adjustments as part of my service at no extra charge. Because I make the dentures myself in my own laboratory, I can make adjustments quickly - often while you wait. I won't consider the job done until you're comfortable and confident.
